JP JEANPHILRICH LISTTHE IMAGINATION ECONOMY / VOL. 01
THE SMALL PRINT / BIG EGOS

Methodology.
Transparent math.

JeanPhil is a fictional virtual influencer. We compare the USD market capitalization of $JEANPHIL with estimated public fortunes for satire. It is not his owned assets, cash, or spendable personal wealth.

One token. One pool.

Server-side data comes from DEX Screener. We verify the configured chain and base-token address, prefer the exact configured pair, or select the matching pool with the most liquidity (pair address breaks ties). Market caps are never summed across pools. This verifies the API address match; it does not independently verify the token issuer’s identity.

Only positive, finite marketCap values produce a rank. Price, liquidity, volume and fully diluted valuation (FDV) are separate metrics. FDV never substitutes for circulating market cap. Calls time out after five seconds and are coalesced and cached for 30–60 seconds. A failure retains the last successful value as STALE with its original timestamp. No reliable value means UNAVAILABLE. Missing chain or address means visibly fictional DEMO MODE.

A selected list, not the whole world.

Selected public figures only — not a complete worldwide millionaire ranking. Billionaire records come from the independent, Forbes-derived komed3/rtb-api, using its pinned v1 list/_index and list/rtb/latest endpoints, without extensions. The source announces roughly monthly updates; we check at most daily by default. Source dates remain visible even after a successful refresh. We are not affiliated with Forbes and this is not an official Forbes ranking.

The bundled development fallback contains only four observed v1 records dated March 31, 2026 and is explicitly labeled partial and stale. A successful ingest replaces it with the complete sourced list. Until then all ranks refer to that subset plus curated figures. Even a complete provider list may be imperfect or omit people.

Curated public figures have dated, linked editorial estimates, marked rough / unverified. They are manually maintained, reviewed quarterly, and may differ from other publishers. Estimates in the current selection are as of May 2, 2025. No biographies or third-party portraits are reproduced. Wealth totals can include family holdings when the source labels them that way.

The maths behind the meme.

Rank equals one plus the number of comparable figures strictly wealthier than JeanPhil. Equal values share the same rank, with JeanPhil displayed first and other ties ordered by identifier. Search preserves category ranks. Duplicate names are normalized; the newest dated record wins, then identifier breaks a tie.

The next figure is the first tied figure, or the nearest higher estimate in the selected category. The gap is max(0, estimate − market cap). A tie requires an additional $0.01 to pass. Below $1 billion, JeanPhil receives no billionaire rank. Milestones show the market cap gap to each threshold, capped at 100% progress. None of these comparisons predicts token price or returns.

Sources, rights and limitations.

The dataset author publishes an MIT license and states unrestricted data reuse. The notice is retained in our release. This is the author’s stated permission, not an independent clearance of Forbes’ underlying rights. Publisher editorial estimates are cited as facts; no publisher imagery or prose is copied. See the repository’s SOURCES.md for the license review and production limitations.

Different valuation dates and methods make these comparisons approximate. Satire / entertainment, not financial advice or investment promotion. No wallets, trading, price targets or promises of returns.

Comparison snapshots and ratios.

Curated comparison pages use eight fixed records from the bundled sources: billionaire estimates as of March 31, 2026 and editorial estimates as of May 2, 2025. They do not silently adopt newer leaderboard estimates. Absolute difference = |token market cap − estimated net worth| in USD. Ratio = token market cap ÷ estimated net worth. Missing, invalid or demo token inputs do not produce a comparison. Market cap generally equals price × circulating supply; we use the provider’s marketCap field because we do not independently verify supply. None of these people endorses or is affiliated with JeanPhil.

Questions for the accountant.

Who is JeanPhil?

JeanPhil is a fictional virtual influencer with a memecoin and an entirely imaginary rivalry with public fortunes.

What is the Rich List?

A satirical comparison of the token’s USD market cap with dated estimates for selected public figures. It is not a complete global wealth ranking.

How is memecoin market cap computed?

Market capitalization generally means token price multiplied by circulating supply. We display the positive marketCap field reported by the selected DEX Screener pool, rather than calculating an unverified supply or substituting fully diluted valuation.

Is market cap the same as personal net worth?

No. Token market cap is not JeanPhil’s owned wealth, cash, or realizable proceeds. Liquidity and selling pressure can make realizable value very different.

Where do celebrity figures come from?

The leaderboard uses an independent Forbes-derived billionaire feed and linked Forbes Australia editorial estimates. Comparison pages use the fixed, dated selection shown alongside each figure. Estimates are imperfect and do not imply endorsement.

How often are values refreshed?

Token requests are cached for 30–60 seconds; the homepage refreshes while visible about once a minute. The billionaire feed is checked daily by default. Editorial estimates are reviewed quarterly; comparison snapshots remain dated until manually updated. Failures show stale data with the original timestamp, or unavailable. Unconfigured tokens are explicitly demo data.
